Updating a Legacy Release
ExtendSim 2026 is the current release of ExtendSim. However, if you need to continue using an earlier release for model compatibility, an existing Floating license, or other requirements, we recommend updating to the latest available release for that version.
If you are using:
- ExtendSim 2024.R1, update to ExtendSim 2024.R1e.
- ExtendSim 10, update to its final release, ExtendSim 10.1.1.
Identify Your ExtendSim Release
To determine which release of ExtendSim you are currently using, either:
- From within ExtendSim, go to Help > About ExtendSim.
- Right-click the ExtendSim application icon in the Program Files folder and select Properties > Details.
Updating ExtendSim 2024
If you are using ExtendSim 2024.R1, update to 2024.R1e, the final release of ExtendSim 2024.
Important: Do not revoke or reactivate your license while updating.

Updating ExtendSim 10
If you are still using ExtendSim 10, update to ExtendSim 10.1.1, its final release. Released March 2, 2024, this free update includes quality and stability enhancements as well as new and improved features.
